Auxiliares: do/ does

En el idioma inglés existen dos verbos que significan “hacer” make y do la diferencia radica en que make se utiliza cuando queremos decir cosas que hacemos o elaboramos con las manos y do es para referirnos a cosas abstractas, acciones mentales o cuando no definimos el tipo de acción .

 Exempla’s:

Do

 You do not (don´t) speak Chinese.

 I do not (don´t) play tennis.

 She does her homework every day.

 Please! Don´t forget you buy any milk in the afternoon.

 

Make

 My mom makes a delicious cake for my birthday´s sister.

 I make my bed in the mornings.

 Sometimes Joanne makes handicrafts to give her friends.

 Peter makes a mess in his room when his parents go out.

 Do / does los podemos utilizar como verbos y como auxiliares en presente simple cuando funcionan como auxiliares no tienen traducción al español. Cuando hablamos de las terceras personas tenemos que emplear does y en los demás pronombres personales corresponde do.
